TC Mirafis MirawebTM Cellular Confinement System has been designed to
provide cost-effective, long-term soil stabilization solutions. MirawebTM is
produced from durable high density polyethylene plastic (HDPE) to provide superior
overall performance for a wide range of applications. Combined with TC Mirafis
extensive line of geosynthetics, MirawebTM becomes a powerful design alternative
for the civil and geotechnical engineer.
- Perforated sections
available to provide lateral drainage and increase interface friction between
the cell wall and infill material.
- Multiple cell
sizes and depths.
- Flexibility provides
easy installation.
- Range of color
facings for natural appearance.
- Range of accessories
available for proper load distribution and installation.
Load Support
The need to construct roadways and access lanes over unstable soils for industrial
and commercial developments is a constant challenge for the geotechnical engineer.
The MirawebTM Cellular Confinement System used in conjunction with a GeolonTM
Geotextile helps to stabilize base materials and minimize surface rutting. The
system stabilizes the infill, producing load distribution over weak soils, base
stabilization for paved surfaces and surface stabilization for unpaved roadways.
Earth Retention
As the amount of useable land decreases, the need to construct earth retaining
structures to provide for continued roadway and commercial development has increased.
The MirawebTM Cellular Confinement System used in conjunction with MiragridTM
soil reinforcement products provides a near vertical retaining wall solution with
the added option of a natural, vegetated surface.
Slope & Channel Protection
Erosion control and the need to stabilize various types of infill material is
an increasing environmental concern.
The MirawebTM Cellular Confinement System used in conjunction with a MirafiTM
Geosynthetic confines the infill material to resist anticipated hydraulic flows,
inhibit erosion, and minimize the downward migration of embankment or channel
materials.
